community college (YCCC) campus is conveniently situated in the heart of York County, Maine. The Maine
Community College offers one of the friendliest, most affordable college experiences in New England.
YCCC sets itself apart with flexible scheduling and rolling admissions so it's easy for students with work or family responsibilities to take classes. Students just entering college find that York County Community College's small classes, experiential learning approach, and one-on-one faculty attention give them the support they need to excel. And, with a mix of students ranging in age from 17 to 72, you'll find a place where everyone is accepted and valued.
YCCC serves over 1,000 full-time and part-time students each fall and spring semester, while about 400 students attend during summer semester. About one third of the school's students are enrolled full-time, while the remaining students are enrolled part-time in credit classes. In addition, the college serves another 1,600 students non-credit classes and workshops annually.
Associate Degree programs at York County Community College are available in fields like
business Administration, Accounting, Architectural Design, Business Administration with Finance, Career Studies, Computer Technology,
Culinary Arts, Digital Media, Early Childhood Education, Liberal Studies, Trade and Technical Occupations, and Web Development. In the Fall of 2008, the school will add Criminal Justice.
Certificate programs include Architectural Drafting and Design and Food Service Specialist.
nursing and Funeral Services degree programs are offered at York County Community College through partnerships with
Southern Maine Community College and American Academy McAllister Institute.
