Operating three campuses in Yuba, Clear Lake, and Woodland, California, Yuba community college serves a wide student demographic. The school specializes in providing one- and two-year degree programs designed to fit any student schedule. Whether you choose to take courses during the day, evening, or through the school's distance learning program, students will find liberal arts and vocational programs that fit their educational needs. Yuba Community College's roster of academic programs currently includes Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, and certificate degree programs. Academic options range from Theatre Arts associate degree programs to Law Enforcement certificates.

Yuba Community College also provides a host of on-campus activities to keep students involved when classes are over. Yuba enrollees will find an array of school-sponsored social, cultural, and artistic events including barbecues, dances, recreational sports activities, holiday celebrations, guest speakers, and film screenings. Yuba Community College students also receive discounts at several local entertainment venues. Yuba students also make valuable contributions to their community. The school works with several area and national non-profit organizations each year including Relay For Life.

Yuba Community College students will receive the support they need in order to reach their academic goals. The school offers free academic advising, English as a Second Language services, financial aid counseling, personal counseling, disability support services, job search support, career counseling, and veteran's support services. The College Success Center is a one-stop shop for students in need of an extra academic boost. Yuba Community College's Center provides free writing assistance and tutoring as well as study workshops designed to help prepare students for their final exams.

Child care facilities are available for Yuba Community College student parents and additional support services are available for low-income, first-generation, and physically disabled students. Through the CalWORKS welfare reform program, families currently on welfare will receive additional academic and financial support until they become self-sustaining.

As of this past June, Yuba Community College's Clear Lake campus added Peace Officer and Corrections Officer courses to its roster of academic programs.

Yuba Community College is one of the few colleges in the nation to offer Law Enforcement certifications in the areas of Gang Awareness, Satanic Cults, and Undercover Narcotics Ops.

Yuba Community College currently has 52 articulation agreements with high schools in the six counties, giving local students the ability to take YCCD courses prior to graduating from high school.

Yuba Community College is home to 10 varsity athletic teams, a student government association, and approximately 35 student clubs and organizations.
